Expedition Description:
Stack Rock can be seen through most of the Treasure Valley.  The hike to the rock is about 3 miles, both up and down, with a couple of steep sections.  Once at the base of the rock, it will be your choice to try to scramble to the top.  The scramble includes a few big steps - we will have to spot each other.  Depending on the total number of participants, we might have to scramble in shifts; there is not a lot of room on the top!

Time:  We'll meet in the main Sage parking lot at 8:30am in the morning.  Our goal will be to return to campus at 4pm.  We will call or text parents if we are significantly late.

Bring/Wear:
Food will NOT be provided - please bring a small backpack/daypack with a lunch, a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and extra layers for warmth.  Please wear hiking shoes or tennis shoes with good traction.  Please dress according to the weather.

Weather can vary in the mountains - please be prepared for rain or even snow.  We will still go if the weather is only lightly raining or overcast.

Register:
Fill out the Registration Form.  You will be notified over email when it is received.  Please print and sign the Risk Waiver (You only need to complete this once per year for day/weekend trips).  If your student will be bringing and taking medication on the trip, please complete and turn in this Medication Form.
