Expedition Description:
On Monday, we will drive to the Madison campsite in Yellowstone National Park to find our basecamp.  For Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, our chaperones and students will choose from a list of options of day activities, including day hikes, hot springs, waterfall/geyser viewing, wildlife (wolves, bison, etc) watching, or relaxing at the lake.  We will depart late Friday morning, stopping for lunch, and return to Sage.

Time:  We'll meet in the main Sage parking lot at 8am on Monday morning.  Our goal will be to return to Sage at 5:00pm on Friday.  We will contact parents if we are significantly late.

Bring/Wear:
Please consult this updated gear list.  Sage Expeditions can provide some equipment, like tents and sleeping pads.  Once the roster is set, we will email out a list of gear needs.  We cannot provide sleeping bags; a good place to rent is at the BSU Outdoor Program.  Make sure to get a warm sleeping bag - size and weight will not matter. All gear should be placed in a plastic bin or large duffel bag.

Weather can vary in the park in fall - please be prepared for rain or even snow.  Cold temperatures will be a definite at night and in the morning!  If possible, cotton clothing should be avoided.  Please bring a water bottle.  We will provide all food.

Register:
Fill out the Registration Form.  Registration will be open until the trip is full.  Please print and sign the Risk Waiver if you have not done so already this school year (You only need to complete this once per year for day/weekend trips).  If your student will be bringing and taking medication on the trip, please complete and turn in this Medication Form.
